The quality of the Logitech web cam bundled into Vision Command is fairly disappointing for static images, but it conveys movement pretty well, specially for internet video. There are 3 mpeg 1 files created with a combination of the Vision Command capture software, Virtual Dub and avi2mpeg . These last 2 have free licenses and are solid and fast tools. The segments were captured at 30 fps and then processed down to 24 fps. While this obviously accelerates the action, it is also true that the bot was performing at the time of filming with a half depleted battery box.
